About the Event

The Bodhicharya centre for Europe and the European Jewish Community Centre invite you for a unique opportunity to an open, fruitful and enlightening discussion on mediation.

With Lama Venerable Ringu Tulku, Tibetan Buddhist Master of the Kagyu Order and Rabbi Avi Tawil, EJCC.

Although it is unknown to many, meditation played an important role in Judaism in the eighteen century with the emergence of the Chasidic movement and the followers of the Baal Shem Tov.
Today, it is still practiced in many cycles by a preparation before prayer to arouse the level of emotional awareness, or at other times, to explore and connect with the inner self, and master one’s intellect and natural instinct. We are honoured to welcome the Lama to our centre as we surely have much to learn from each other
